This is me & my LXD55 6"sn. Quite dark skys in Whitstable Kent, UK Observing Saturn Roger	My AR6 / LXD55 on a sand filled 4" steel pier. It is extremely stable and the tray forms the bottom of a weather tight box that covers the mount between sessions. The rechargeable 7Ah battery is also much more reliable on cold winter nights. I have enclosed a photo of my LXD55 8” SN setup. I have had the ‘scope for almost exactly six months and I am very pleased with its operation.
